CALL FOR PAPERS

 We are delighted to invite our alumni, faculty, students, colleagues, and partners to participate in our celebration of the 25-year anniversary of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. This momentous occasion will be commemorated through several events held at the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology on October 23-24, 2024.

As part of this grand celebration, we are pleased to announce a Call for Papers for the 7^th International Conference on Economic Management in Mineral Activities and topical issues in sustainable development - EMMA+. This will be a hybrid conference (virtual and face-to-face) held on October 23, 2024 and the excursion will be organized on October 24 to a mine in the North of Vietnam. The conference is under the auspice of the Society of Mining Professors and the International Social Security Association.

The Organizing Committee of the 7^th EMMA+ is honored to invite scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students to participate and contribute your valuable insights and expertise to this remarkable event. We do hope that EMMA+ will serve as a platform for the exchange of ideas, scholarly discussions, and networking opportunities for all participants from Vietnam and other countries in the field of economic management in mineral activities.

Main themes of the 7^th EMMA+ are as follows:

1. Organizational structure management in the mining industry
2. Financial management in the mining industry
3. Human resource management and capacity building in the mining industry
4. Mining policies and strategy of the mining industry
5. Sustainable development in the mining industry
6. VISION ZERO – safety, health and well-being in the mining industry

Key dates of the conference:

Paper manuscripts should be prepared in English. All submissions are subject to a blind peer review process. Only accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with an ISBN index and considered for oral presentation. Qualified papers will have the opportunity to be selected for publication in the Journal of Indonesian Economy and Business  (indexed in Scopus) and Gadjah Mada International Journal of Business. Posters are the other alternative of oral presentations.

Authors are kindly reminded to follow the requirements for the conference manuscripts:
- Being original work that has never been submitted for publication elsewhere;
